On Friday, our class went to a study visit by visiting two artists which are jewelry designer and tailor. The jewelry designer is named Lucy Walker ,while the tailor named Jeremy Tok. The study visit is let us to know more about spaces for artisans. We also get to know more about the story of how they get into their jobs. It was very interesting for getting know about them.

Well, what I have learnt from them is how spaces can really being used conveniently when they work with their craft. They both got their own convenient and assigned workspaces where they also can get their tools which they need within an easy reach. For example, their working table will have a rack or shelves to put their tools and arrange them according to their needs. They also have their artworks being display in one small space. These are I unexpected about jewelry making and tailoring because I though the process won't be too complicated until they need to arrange their tools nicely.

I also learned from them, how much they love their work also the passion and patience when they facing their major, but even the work is the favorite one, they still need some time for their own, such as a basic rest. I can feel how excited when they are talking about their major and can't wait to share their experience with us.

Also, I did some more research about dough figurines. I found the reasons of why it appear, process of how to make a dough figurines, some histories of it and a few dough figurines artists. And these are some photos of what the dough figurines looks like:
