DES1203 - Week 08 N Week 09

Week 8

This week, we had decided our final typography design. For me, I had do more research about bubbles. I bought the blowing bubbles that kids loves to play. It was so cheap because I bought it at my hometown which is only costs me RM0.90 only! So ya, I blew it and becomes like this:

It has the shape of symbol infinite or 8. So, I came out a design like this:

Also, I let our lecturer to choose colors for me. I chose blue colors because bubbles made from soap and soap made from water. So, I need three different colors.

Our lecturer chose only two for me, so I need one more color that suitable for my typography. I will try mixed another color besides blue.

Week 9

This week, our lecturer brief another assignment for us which is create a cover of a horror storybook. We had to choose a horror storybook (children) from the link that our lecturer gave and do some research and knowing their story by reading their summary of the story. Then, we need to create another design of the cover of that storybook we chose. So I had chose 'The Haunted Mask' and I had do some research and found some related images about the haunted mask. The mask was ugly but not scary for me.

Besides that, I continued my typography work. I had put the blue chemical thingy which I dunno what its called but I know it will be washed after I put the red chemical thingy which I also dunno what its called (It won't be washed after its dry). I was scared that it will failed because some of my classmates failed to do it. The blue thingy was pullen off with the red thingy. I think theirs are not dry yet so the blue thingy comes off. I keep try mines using hairdryer because I don't want to do all over again! (The right one is mine.)

Then, I put the red thingy on it. I do it with my friend because I was scared it will failed because the blue thingy dry but still sticky.

It looks a bit failed but my classmates said is like that. So, I let it dry itself for a day and after that I will wash the blue thingy tomorrow. I wish it will be working!!!
